This past month has been a whirlwind of concerts and recitals for the CCSA! We participated in Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert performing Carmina Burana with an additional pre-concert performance in the Rozsa Lobby. Keweenaw Youth Symphony Orchestra combined with Reading Orchestra performed their Spring Concert and we enjoyed several solo recitals celebrating the work of our violin, cello, guitar and piano students. Whew! But wait, there’s more: this Saturday is CCSA’s Spring Concert and 50th Birthday Celebration! Come hear your favorites like Boil ‘em Cabbage Down and May Song, a reprise of KYSO’s Dragonhunter and Yesterday, plus a lovely Vivaldi Concerto for Two Cellos and so much more. AND for dessert….the Twinkle Variations! May 14 at 2 p.m., McArdle Theatre. ... See MoreSee Less
