How Can I Help?

Support Our Endowment

In 1999, a generous contribution from an anonymous donor started the CCSA Endowment to help secure our future.

As we build and strengthen our endowment it will help us:

  • Retain high-quality teachers
  • Offer outreach music programs in schools
  • Purchase and repair instruments
  • Provide scholarships for lessons
  • Maintain affordable tuition

Our endowment is managed by the Keweenaw Community Foundation (KCF), and all donations to our endowment qualify for the Michigan Community Foundation Tax Credit valued at fifty per cent of your donation. For example, a $100 donation will cost less than $50 with this special state income tax credit and federal credits.

To make a donation to the CCSA endowment, make your check payable to: “Copper Country Suzuki Association” and send it to us at:

Or send it directly to the Keweenaw Community Foundation at:

The CCSA is a 501(C)(3) tax exempt charitable organization. Contributions are appreciated and tax deductible.

Donate an Instrument

If you have a violin, viola or cello that you are no longer using and is in working condition, please consider donating it to the CCSA. You will be provided with a receipt for the value of the instrument for tax purposes. It’s a great way to help out the CCSA!

Buy a Fun Card or Bulbs

The CCSA engages in fundraising activities during the year. In the fall we sell flower bulbs and in the spring we sell Fun Cards. Fun Cards are discount cards that are good for an entire year. The cost is $10.00. Please call the CCSA office at 487-3606 if you are interested in buying a fun card or helping out in any other way.
